Kellie M. Murphy
received her B.A. from the University of Dayton in 1994. She received her J.D. as a cum laude graduate of the University of Houston Law Center in 1996, where she won both the mock trial and moot court competitions and was named Best Speaker.

Kellie focuses in the areas of civil rights, disability access, general civil defense including public entity and self-insured defense, employment law and litigation, and complex personal injury litigation (including mold-related claims). In addition to her litigation experience, she has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of insurance coverage & bad faith.

She is admitted to the State Bar of California, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California.

Kellie has lectured extensively on employment and personnel issues, insurance coverage, and civil litigation, for clients as well as other attorneys.
