Employment Litigation

In addition to successfully defending employers at trial, we focus on disposing of employment cases by aggressively and expeditiously filing motions for summary judgment before extensive trial preparation fees are incurred.

Recently, we successfully defended:

  • An Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA) case brought by a blind woman against a large employer;

  • Several race discrimination cases, which also included claims for violation of free speech, infliction of emotional distress, and defamation;

  • Two same gender sexual harassment cases; and

  • Numerous gender discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, age discrimination, and defamation cases.

We have also handled class actions involving an employer's entire workforce, and have dealt with difficult technical issues requiring test validation and adverse impact analyses.
